Refinishing questions
How long does a refinished tub last?
With normal care, many years. It is a bonded coating, so abrasive cleaners and suction-cup mats shorten its life.
Can a cracked tub be refinished?
Chips and small cracks are repaired as part of refinishing. A tub that flexes or leaks through the crack needs replacing.
Can tile be refinished too?
Yes. A tile surround can be refinished; the color changes, the layout and grout lines underneath do not.
Why do you send refinishing to another company?
Refinishing is its own trade with its own equipment and crew. Proper Reglazing does only that; we do remodels.
